Our Veterinary Care Comes with a Highly Trained Staff – and Love – for Pets in Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch
Our motto is “caring only requires love," and we have plenty of love as well as plenty of advanced resources, tools and facilities to administer our veterinary care. Our routine care includes check-ups, annual exams, and preventative medicine. We offer a full range of vaccinations that includes rabies, distemper and kennel cough. Our surgical procedures include spay and neuter, orthopedic and other intricate surgeries such as FHO. Treatment for hip issues, patella luxation and a full scope of blood work is also available at our animal clinic.
We are not limited to dogs and cats, either. We treat the exotic pets of Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch. Our patients include birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, amphibians, snakes and other reptiles, fish, hamsters, gerbils, rats and other small mammals and pocket pets. Exotic pet services include treatment for crop, respiratory infections, lack of appetite or refusal to eat, and various conditions found in exotics. We also provide guidance, recommendations and assessments on exotic pet housing, lighting, vitamins, diet and health care.
Emergencies that cannot wait are always accommodated during our regular vet hours. We have the facilities and expertise to treat emergencies that include vehicular injuries and poisoning from ingestion of snail bait, chocolate or other toxic and potentially lethal materials. Call ahead with an emergency so we can advise on proper treatment until the pet reaches the emergency room. We also want to prepare our emergency team, which consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians who work together to save a pet’s precious life.
Urgent care needs of pets in Sarsota, Brandenton and Lakewood Ranch regions are also accommodated. If a pet has a condition that is not life-threatening but cannot wait for a regular vet visit, call and explain the concern. Our experienced staff can advise on the best options and try to fit a visit with the vet between scheduled appointments. Browse our website for more information, resources and to schedule an appointment online.
Animals are in compassionate hands at our University Park Animal Clinic veterinary facilities, where we do more than serve pets – we love them.
