Our veterinarians and staff have extensive experience and treat pets using the latest advances in veterinary care and techniques. Dr. Robert Rill specializes in small and exotic animal medicine as well as surgery, and Dr. Tyrene Fellman specializes in internal medicine, oncology, and exotic medicine. Together with our veterinary hospital staff, our doctors are able to provide a comprehensive suite of services to care for your pet. We offer medical, dental and surgical services to care for the changing needs of your growing pet. Our vet staff is trained to provide urgent care and emergency veterinary treatment during our regular business hours. We are open 6 days a week to accommodate any busy schedule and work to get your pet seen as soon as possible.
Our animal hospital is AAHA-accredited, meaning that our staff and clinic have been evaluated on over 800 different standards of veterinary care. Accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a voluntary process for animal clinics, however only a small percentage of animal hospitals are able to meet these high standards of veterinary care. In addition to this prestigious industry accreditation, our animal clinic has received several awards such as Best Veterinary Clinic in 2008 by Sarasota magazine, Best Vet of the Suncoast 2009 by Creative Loafing magazine, and Best Veterinarian 2009 and 2010 by Living Out East and On the Bay magazine.
Our veterinary hospital treats various types of pets including amphibians, birds, cats, dogs, fish, pocket pets, rabbits, reptiles, and most small mammals.
