Rayshaud joined UAC in August 2025 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. A graduate of BRCC’s Veterinary Technology Program in 2018, he earned his LVT credentials and has since built a career rooted in his passion for animal emergency care, exotic species, zoo medicine, and wildlife conservation.
His experience includes internships with the Wildlife Center of Virginia and Zoomed with the Dallas Zoo, along with hands-on work in both exotic and emergency veterinary care. He has also worked in a laboratory setting, adding to his well-rounded background in animal health.
Outside of work, Rayshaud enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, working out, and exploring good food. At home, he shares his space with a full-on animal kingdom—including 3 parrots, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 tarantulas, 3 fish tanks, and a tortoise.
